hmmm k.. How do you establish someone is arrogant when you don't even know them? Worse off you haven't even met them? So why is it that so many people feel they are justified to hate on Ronny for apparent "arrogance"?

you preach long about how he is not arrogant. But have you ever met him? Being a manchester united fan i assume that you just look at him thru the television set in London or somewhere no were near manchester.

Unless YOU have met him, and know him, you have no right to say whether he is arrogant or not. Because just like the rest of us, you don't know!

The opinions that we have on him are from the bad experiences he has subjected us fans to. I will bring getting his club mate Rooney sent off against portugal and then winking at the bench to your attention. Failed to mention that didn't you?

Because he doesn't even act like a professional player at all. He practically dives in every single match and he has this disgusting attitude towards his opponents and the referees. AND, he's NOT good looking at all. Mann, sometime I think he cares more about his appearances more than football.

All footballers are overpaid, arrogant, selfish individuals. The only reason you are defending Ronaldo is because you think he is good looking. I remember when football was about football not celebtrity status and pin up poster boys.

Hates probably a strong word but he hardly endeared himself in plotting to get Rooney sent off and I admit he's cleaned his act up now but is still remembered for the diving he's done in the past, the same way that Savage has a job getting people to like him even though now he's cleaned up his act... mud sticks.

I do NOT doubt, - in ANY way, shape, or form, - the paricular skills, of this young man! He is, - without DOUBT, - one of the most SKILLED soccer players on the surface of the planet, today.

What I DO, - however, - despise, and DETEST, about him, is his attitude, towards his opponents, - and, - most of ALL, - his ability to "HOODWINK" officials, by feigning INJURY, when, - as has been PROVED to have HAPPENED, on NUMEROUS occasions, - very LITTLE, - or, even NO, - contact, occurred, between himself, and his opponent!

Remember the LAST World Cup?

His CHEATING, - not, to MENTION, the WINK, that he gave to the REFEREE, - succeeded, in obtaining EXACTLY, what HE, - and, his equally-culpable team-mates, - required, - the SENDING OFF, of England's main STRIKER, - Wayne Rooney, - meaning that Portugal could go THROUGH, to the tournament's SEMI-FINALS. The "INJURED" player, was, - BEFORE Rooney's dismissal, - writhing around, on the ground, - almost, as though he'd been SHOT, - but, was "UP", and "RUNNING AROUND LIKE A TWO-YEAR-OLD RACEHORSE", within SECONDS of Rooney, being dismissed!

It would be RIGHT, - in ONE sense, - to blame the REFEREE, for being DISTRACTED enough, to FALL for the trick, - MOST officials do, at SOME point, - but, I think that the Portugese players ALLOWED him to "HOODWINK" the official, - on the "GROUNDS" that being a "CLUB-MATE" of the errant player, he would NOT CHEAT! But, - as we have seen HUNDREDS of times SINCE, - Ronaldo DID CHEAT! THAT is the - JUSTIFIABLE, - basis, for the majority of loyal ENGLISH fans despising him.

The STRANGE thing, IS, though, that the multitude of ManURE supporters have FORGOTTEN about this simple FACT!

Whether you LIKE it, or NOT, the WHOLE truth is, that Cristiano Ronaldo is a CHEAT, who SHAMED himself, - his Country, - AND, his CLUB, - it's as SIMPLE at THAT!

This seems to give the IMPRESSION, that, - just because he IS, who he IS, - and, for whom he PLAYS his Club football, - he is "BULLET-PROOF", - or, - in SOME way, - "ABOVE" the RULES of the game.

Did you ever hear that interview with him when asked why people keep fouling him, he responded by saying "maybe I'm just too good?"
