i saw a car flying over broadway yesturday in the midnight

While anything is technically possible with enough modifications, a standard car with no modifications won't "fly", unless you call falling off a cliff "flying"
For a car to fly, it would need some way to generate thrust in the air. Wheels only work on the ground.

yeah.. but eventually the wheels get verrrry tired from all the flapping...
actually, if some guy can make a lawnchair fly high enough to be seen by passing passenger planes (really happened!) just using balloons... then a car should be easy.
There is a utube movie showing firemen making a small car fly using just water hoses... gets about 30 feet off the ground, but the landing is a bit rough...
.. go figure..
