Well, there are plenty of options (was there just a few months ago for a conference).
There's a Fairfield Inn and Suites, rates from $169/nite (i quoted for the end of October).
The Comfort Suites Airport is $100/nite
Days Inn: $70/nite
As I said, lots to choose from, depending on what's "reasonably priced" is to you.
http://www.resideo.com/us/california/sanjose/ - click the "Check Availability" button, choose your dates, submit the form, then select "San Jose Int'l Airport" from the distance dropdown.
Hope that helps!

I like to use hotels.com. They give you prices, locations, pictures, ratings by other consumers that have stayed there, etc. You don't have to guess at the price or bid that you make. While I live in San Jose and work at SJC, I would hesitate to tell you what you are looking for or what your price needs are. I have used this site when finding a place for my son while he was on the road, in the middle of the night, going to an AFB in MS. We found a luxury hotel, at the last minute with more than a 50% ddiscount. You might want to get a GPS in your rental car to help navigate the bay area. It is a wonderful place to see if you have extra time.

People have already provided links and I think they are as good as any of the ones I can provided. The thing that I have to warn you is that in Silicon Valley the rates for hotels is higher on the weekdays and cheaper on the weekends. It's not uncommon to pay $200+ for a major chain hotel like the Hilton, Marriott, etc. on the weekdays and under $100 on the weekends. Not that people don't come here for vacation but the hotel industry caters a lot to the business folks visiting Silicon Valley.

Crowne Plaza in Milpitas is a nice hotel, we stayed there last time, paid $160 for 4 days, good deal on Expedia. I also would recommend Embassy Suites Hotel in Milpitas, pricey but worth it.

I actual have lived in the area only above Union sq. for 25 years, and that i ought to trust answer #3 from Violette Blue. She gave you the main suitable decision of eating places to objective, plus great added advice on parking, getting around on Muni and cabbies, etc. I additionally take place to agree that the Ferry development industry is a phenomenal selection- i did not think of of it, yet i think of it rather is a great thought and it rather is amazingly close. I additionally ought to disagree with the guy who pronounced that yahoo has a coverage against posting hyperlinks. that's what the "source" container is for, yet posting in the physique of your answer is likewise suited i think. If every person knows in any different case, please submit. Have a great holiday to San Francisco!

Go to hotwire.com. Just put in the zip code of the facility, business, or relative you are visiting. It will give you several options. I have found it has the best prices.
