any store that isnt just some guy in his yard, because it might be cheap but it might also be broken, make sure the place tests the equipment, my brother bought a playstation that was broken once from a guy at a yard sale

Call some local pawn shops. You can be put on a list if they have one. That way, they check it and you decide if it's safe to be in the neighborhood. You can also check your local paper.
