I have a compaq presario laptop and was wondering if theres anyway u can hook a laptop up to a tv like to watch a movie on it or something?is that possible ?

all the laptops, always has a vga out that is used to connect external monitors,lcd projectors etc..
so u can use that port,,all u need is a tv with a vga in or u can use a adapter/converter to connect to whatever connection is there in the tv.
does ur tv has a vga or s-video in port?
if yes u can use any one of that to the tv..
if not u can use dvd player which generally has a s-video in to connect in between laptop and tv..
i mean connect laptop to dvd with s-video,,then use whatever connection u use to connect tv to the dvd....

It is possible if you have the proper ports on the laptop and the TV. Check for an S-Video port on your laptop and your TV or DVD player. There could also possibly be a VGA port on both your laptop and TV. Be aware that these only handle video. You'll need speakers hooked up to the computer to hear the audio.

If the laptop has TV out, it's easy.
If it does not, you can still buy a usb adapter that will output your graphics..

yes but the newer tv's my cousin does it. now i don't know how ,but call your local computer shop and ask how you can .cause it can be done.
