No way-I love it! From now till the New Year, it's the best. I love to decorate and wrap presents. I shop all year so I can get deals plus find things that seem to fit the person. Plus no credit card debt to worry over. I love to have treats ready and holiday shows to watch. And taking my toddler around to see hoiday decorations is a blast. I insist on keeping it fairly low key and easy going since my DH and I work full time so adding a ton of extra things to do at the holidays makes more work and stress not fun. This year we are buying our first home and will finish move in around Thanksgiving so I can't wait to make new memories and traditions in our new home.

I love the holidays. Thanksgiving is actually becoming more fun than Christmas these days, because there are more people, and we're all together having fun. We watch the Macy's parade, the football games, my cousins and I might even go outside and throw the ball around with the little ones, and all the women come together in the kitchen to cook. It's great. I love it. The biggest joy for me at Christmas is going out shopping. I love filling my car up with bags of presents and I LOVE my day of wrapping! I look forward to it all year. For me, there's nothing better than giving someone a present I know they'll really love. And I just love spoiling the family, especially my mom. I can't wait to have kids for all the fun it'll be giving them presents!

you're actually not on my own. I hate the trip season too. I hate it while the branch shops receives so crowded and that there is not any place to park. I hate it that each and all of the shops use the trip journeys to sell all their junk that in the time of any different case could in no way sell. I additionally hate it that the twelve months comprises an end in basic terms such as you stated it. the sole stable area approximately that's that toddlers get some days off and that i generally make plans to bypass on a trip then.

I despise the holidays. I despise the hype, the pressure to have a perfect family and life, the pressure the pressure the pressure. I dread the schools closing for more than a week. I dread going to church and everyone in the world being there and having no place to sit. Home is the only place to be.

I used to LOVE Christmas..... but I have to admit I do Dread the Holiday Season now. It is so much work and worry. I think it's GREAT that you keep up the Christmas spirit for the family... you are setting an example that I promise you will not go un-noticed....send out invites and phone them telling them they must come see you!! Merry Christmas!!

The Christmas holiday season would be great it it occurred at Christmas. The stores have been advertising and stocking for it since the beginning of September and it seems to get earlier each year.

Sounds like you got it right. You decide wether or not to let your holidays be dreadful. I buy gifts all year and I make my own traditions that my family can share in if they want to, while saving some timeouts from holiday hoop-lah for myself. I usually treat myself to new jewelery, a day of relaxation, or something that I really enjoy doing! Our family has an open door policy all year round to. If we know you, you are welcome in. So it sounds like your doing everything right! Happy Holidays!!!

No....I love it. I love decorating my home and having my kids look forward to Santa Claus coming. We also enjoy the togetherness of making Christmas candy and cookies to share with neighbors. Our family goes together to see a movie or play based on a Christmas theme. Also, we always buy gifts for someone who has no family at the local nursing home. We focus on giving and togetherness- makes it more enjoyable when you feel good inside.

Yes! I get stress you out and some of my family members get on my last nerves? Sometimes during Thanksgiving or Christmas someone will get into an argument and bring it stuff about the past. Plus, I am a single parent.
