Hunter opposed to amnesty and therefore acceptable.
McCain is for amnesty and therefore unacceptable.
Giuliani is for amnesty and is also unacceptable.
Romney is for some amnesty and is therefore unacceptable.
Thompson is opposed to amnesty but a bit weak on other immigration issues and may be acceptable.
Huckabee is for amnesty and therefore unacceptable.
Tancredo is opposed to amnesty and is acceptable.
Ron Paul is opposed to amnesty and is therefore acceptable.

Any candidate that is not opposed to amnesty is not going to beat Hillary. The Republican candidate must be demonstrably different than Hillary on several key issues or will loose to her.

Many people are drawing the line at abortion but the likelihood that any major changes will occur regardless of who is president are minimal. However, on immigration, there is no doubt the issue will be decided once and for all during the next presidential administration.

Yes. I want to vote for John McCain but I do have a lot of respect for Duncan Hunter. His policy about mirroring the tarrifs make sense.

I didn't know he has a trade policy. I only hear him talk about illegal immigration.

I like his ideas and believe if the republican party fails to nominate him, then Hillary will be the next President.
