Yes, because I fell in love with a woman that changed the way I think about life and love. She brought hope of a better, happier life to me.

I have. I was in a relationship with a guy who brought out the worst in me. I was a pretty laid back person, who didn't experiment with drugs or party a lot. But when I met dude, he introduced me to weed and pills, and drug me around to all these parties every weekend for about 3 months. After a while I started doing all the partying and sh!t on my own, without his influence...and the drugs. I started getting lazy and in a lot of trouble because of the drugs and partying. So pretty much, when I became unsatisfied with myself and started getting depressed, I called him crying and blaming him for everything...and thats what I told him...

I said this to a lover once...Boy I was sooo Naive..
And now I know that I was wrong because I've become so much more since then,& she had nothing to do w/ it. If anything, she was holding me back.
But I have no regrets...For if I had not said this, I probably would still be under that impression.

Yes, I have. One of my teachers. She taught me how to master typing and shorthand. Because of that, when my first husband and the father of my three children left us, he did not assist with raising the children in any fashion, monetarily or otherwise. Therefore, this teacher was instrumental by teaching me and helping me obtain the knowledge to have a good job and be able to support the children and myself.

My husband's said it to me, I've said it to him... mainly because we appreciate what we've done, given up, etc. for each other. Now, if he ever told me I was his reason for living we'd have to talk. Being told that is WAAAAY too much. But yeah, we've said it because we want each other to realize how good we are for each other and how much we appreciate sacrifices made. In a related topic, I do believe that God has blessed me with my husband, so really all I am is because of Him. TMI? Sorry. ;-)

No. But I would say parts of who we are is because of everyone else who affected our lives. People are reactive beings. Our experiences shape us into what kind of person we grow up to be.

How I wish I could say that to my husband. I planned of singing that to him, until I found out that he doesn't deserved every inch of my sacrifice, love, and loyalty to him. It's just a dream.
