My Sprint contract is set to expire next month and I can't stand them anymore. Dropped calls and bills up to $185/mo means I'll never use them again.
Anyway, I'm thinking of switching to T-mobile. I was tempted by Verizon until I found out that they give tons of info to the government spy program...

I had verizon and I must admit they have the best coverage in the US. They're pricey though, and yes, they comply with all the request from the government. I've had T-mobile for several years now and I haven't had any major problems. I have a family plan, which is dirt cheap and I have never run out of minutes. I would check the coverage in the area you live and pick the best. Also you may talk to friends - all in-network calls are free in T-mobile (I think it's also true for Verizon) - this was one of the reasons why I picked T-mobile.

I've had T-Mobile and well, they weren't too bad, but the signal was horrible everywhere I went, but I stuck with them for two years until I decided Verizon was the way to go because I had tons of friends with Verizon and they were very happy. I switched and I'm never looking back. I get GREAT signal with Verizon and that's saying a lot because I live out in the middle of nowhere. I've never had a dropped call and when people are talking to me, I sound so clear to them that they think I'm talking from a landline phone.
Verizon can be a bit pricey depending on the plan you go with. Like for $60 a month you get 450 anytime minutes, plus unlimited night and weekend minutes, unlimited IN calling to any Verizon customer, and you can text message/picture message/video message/instant message with anyone in any network at any time for free. Hah! now I sound like an ad, but really, Verizon is a good company and their customer service is top notch.

I ABSOLUTELY loved T Mobile until.....There was an ice storm in Oklahoma. The schools were closed ALL WEEK and the roads treacherous. My bill was due on Tuesday and I couldn't get to the T mobile store until the Ice thawed. I live in the country where we have no internet at home and i do not use banks or credit cards due to an identity theft 2 yrs ago that cleaned me out and ruined my credit. So I called T Mobile told them the situation and they agreed to a 10 day extention w/o suspending my line. 48 hrs after my bill was past due my phone was cut off. They said i agreed to a 2 day extention not 10, and once my lines were suspended, there was nothing they could do. I had service uninterrupted and paid in full for three years and they cut me off and asked for a 200 dollar per line reconnect fee and that the 115.00 bill be paid as well as a 450.00 deposit SO for 765.00 they would turn my 2 lines back on. I told them to stick it you know where and went to AT&T. I couldn't be happier. T Mobile was GREAT with my customer care until 2006. After that I was livid and will NEVER reccomend them even to my "enemies".

depends on where u live and if u plan on making trips outside of the major highways like going to the country or such to do campoing. I have had t-mobile and i currently have verizon and with my verizon i go to the sticks of alabama where u ahve to drive 30 minutes to the nearest town. and i get perfect service. as with t-mobile i would go to the same place and not have any service until i got back to the city. so thats something u need to think about. because verizon does have the best network.

Use to work for the cmopany but they are the most expensive service.
TMobile. Friends have it and swear by the company.
I can only comment on their experience but they are happy customers.
Good luck to you
