I'm 13 yrs. old in 8 grade and in my class, the teacher decides where each student will sit. I have been seated next to a boy who I feel like is bullying me. He always disturbs me in the middle of the class session and sometimes hits me, acts like he's slapping me, acts as he's superior to me, and commands me to help him when he needs it. He also tells me that he'll slap me or whack me hard if I don't do something(maybe for fun). I don't know if it's just that he's trying to have some fun and thinks of me as a good guy and a friend or he's just harassing and bullying me. Please help me out as I feel like it's just mental torture.

You need to stop this right now, this boy is a bully and your letting him get away with it. Step one, tell the boy that you don't like being hit, Say something like "hey man, lay off with the whacks, it's really annoying, and if you don't stop the mess in class the teacher is going to move me and then I won't be able to help you at all. If he is just doing it because he thinks your a good guy then he'll stop. A true bully wont
Hopefully that will end it, but if not your next step is to go to the teacher and tell her whats going on and ask for a seat change. If that don't work then step up the ladder to her boss, the principle. If you have to do that bring one or both of your parents into it.
If a bully isn't stopped they get worse the longer they get away with it. Standing up for yourself now may be hard, but this is one of life's lessons, "don't take 'doo', from anyone". You don't have to, and the longer you do the harder it will be to get it stopped. Good luck with this, remember standing up for your self is a good thing.

First tell this boy that you have had enough
of him. Tell him to stop with the bullying and
leave you alone because you do not like it.
Second, tell your teacher exactly what you
wrote here. Ask your teacher to move your
seat. She may know what is going on, but
thinks it is ok.
Third, tell your parents exactly what you wrote here. Tell them that you have talked
to the boy and to the teacher. Ask them if
they will intervene if the situation does not
change immediately.
They or you can get the principal involved.
They can also get the school board involved if there is no action taken to relieve
your situation.
His parents can also be told about this, although most will tell you..."not my son".
You should feel safe at school. It is the school`s job to take care of these types of
harassments.
Do not be afraid to cause a fuss to get this
boy to stop his harassing.

Most bullies bully people because they think that they can control you. If you show fear or acceptance of what they are doing to you, they will continue to do it to you. Sometimes telling the teacher about the situation would help, but there are times when telling the teacher, the bullying will get worse. One solution is to stand up to yourself. Be firm in your actions and let him see that you are not happy about what he is doing.

this child has a low respect for life and a fear from you. don't let him win after all he is the loser and you are the winnerright?
the next years in your life will show his succes and matched with yours he probably falls short
Its this knowledge thats prompts him
In short he's jealous and knows it
So how can he hurt you...only if you let him.
Where is the teacher and why aren't they envolved with this'
There are bullying laws and counseling in all schools.
I think you should ask for help yourself
cause it'll look bad on you if you get a parent to do it.

tell him you have had enough of it
people who do those type of things need to have a wake up call
and if he doesnt listen to you tell your year advisor, that teacher and your parents
dont let him walk all over you
