Only if we plan on going to Spanish speaking countries or getting jobs where we interact with Spanish speaking countries or we want to teach English to Spanish speaking peoples. When in Rome......
And, according to the masses, Italian is a more globally used language...why don't we all just learn that?

i did not realize he was making us. we've had to learn spanish in america for a long time now. no, i dont understand why. its America, speak English. if somebody wants to learn another language then go ahead, but is it really necessary?? i did fine in that class but i dont remember anything really:) i guess its just like diagraming in language class..why??? who knows
