so i'm 5 weeks and 1 day w/ baby #1, I know its early but I love names, lol. So I love the name Julian, but my fiance thinks its a sissy/gay name, what do you think, honestly? I like:
Julian Kamden
Julian Kooper
Julian Oliver
Julian Elijah
Tell me what you think of these or any other unique suggestions. My fiance likes the name Kingston with either Oliver or Elijah as a middle name.
For a girl we have Genevieve, but not sure of a middle name yet.
Thanks

Julian is a classic masculine choice -- obviously, I quite like it ;) -- and if your husband finds it too "soft" for his taste, the nickname Jude certainly toughens it up a bit. Perhaps that option might appeal? ;)
I wouldn't personally pair such a classic with the trendier K misspellings of Camden and Cooper, but the names themselves are fine. Julian Oliver and Julian Elijah are wonderful, however, and since your husband also likes those middle names, it seems they might be your best bets.
Hope that helps.
Ps. I believe a few of the above posters are confused, because Julian is a traditionally masculine name not even common as a crossover. I've NEVER heard of a girl named Julian. LOL Perhaps they're thinking of the feminine forms Julianne or Julienne, but those are pronounced differently. Pretty much akin to saying Brian is feminine because it's similar to Brianne, or Charlotte is masculine, because it's a feminine form of Charles. Skewed logic, if you ask me. ;)

I love the name Julian also but I kind of agree with your fiance about it being somewhat girly.
You could always have Julian as the middle name.
Kingston Julian
Elijah Julian
Chase Julian
Kooper Julian
Genevieve Grace
Genevieve Rose
Genevieve Ann
I would keep the middle name short since Genevieve is a long name.
Good luck!

I like Genevieve. How about Genevieve Laura or Lauren? I don't really like Julian, but I don't think it's necessarily a sissy name. I like Julian Oliver the most, but maybe you could try Julianne or Julia for a girl if you really like Julian but your fiance thinks that of it. Good luck with your pregnancy, hope everything goes great!

Our top names for boys are Carter Lane and Hayden Cole
For a girl we like Addison Noelle and Lillian Grace.
I like the name Julian but my husband thinks it is a little sissy sounding but he didn't hate it. He said he would go with it as a middle name.
Oh and ask your husband what classifies a name as being gay? Never heard of gay sounding names but maybe there are some. LOL Men can be so weird at times.
Best wishes.

I love Genevieve!
Genevieve Camille
Genevieve Elise
Genevieve Noelle
Genevieve Quinn
I am not that into Julian but I think its ok; I think alot of the middle names you picked are soft (feminine) sounding too.
how about...
Julian Cole (could call him JC)
Julian Alexander
Julian David
Julian Robert
Julian Thomas (could call him JT)
Julian Eli (more strong sounding than Elijah in my opinion)
hope that helps!

Julian is a great name!!! Very classy. I would go with Julian Elijah. Don't let him use Kingston, it's awful.

I think Kingston sounds sissy too. I don't like them. I like Genevieve though. You could call her Genny.
