I met a guy through an online personals site and he seems great, except that he misspells my name in every email, every time. I write back with the correct spelling, but he still doesn't get it.

It's annoying me to the point that I don't want to date him. Is that wrong?

We've exchanged three emails each so far, and he writes my name wrong multiple times in each e-mail. He uses Yahoo mail and I can see he saved my name in his address book the wrong way.

My name isn't super common but it's not difficult. He keeps leaving out the second letter.

Why don't you just tell him that he is misspelling your name and it is starting to annoy you. If you think he is so great why would you not date him because of something so simple? A lot of guys can't spell and they don't pay attention to details...its some sort of genetic code they have.

If it really bothers you a lot then speak with him about it.

Also, take into consideration what your name is. If it is something that is a common one and spelled in the "common" or popular way then I guess it is kind of bad. But if it is something that is very unique and uncommon then I wouldn't really blame him too much ....atleast not in the begining...

no rely how creepy this Jeremy could nicely be, what your chum did confirmed her to have an rather undesirable character. She stated propose and hurtful issues approximately yet somebody else, in all probability understanding that he became into interior earshot. it quite is not some thing any respectable person could do. i ask your self how your chum will experience approximately her habit if she famous out that Jeremy went residing house and killed himself. i think of it may be hilarious if Jeremy went to varsity, grew to advance into very wealthy and efficient, have been given himself in shape and then went returned for a intense college reunion to flirt with and then say merciless issues approximately your chum, who perchance by utilising then will weigh greater suitable than she could like and not feeling very stable approximately herself.

Tell him in a playful way how your name is spelled. If he still gets it wrong, then you have to decide if that is the type of person for you.

It does not require great intelligence to remember that every body loves his/her name as most precious, since she is associated with it from early childhood. His spelling your name incorrectly indicates either he is dumb or careless or he has no respect for your feelings. You will not be wrong if you discard him.

No. i won't even bother. Because that's rude. I will try a few times more and if he still don't think i am serious about spelling my name correctly, then it's bye-bye.

Just tell him, geez. Maybe he thinks it cute. You won't know until you talk to him about it.

"Hey Bubbles, Are you just being cute or do your really know how to spell my name?"
