like baby g, i only did 2-3 a day. so when the price went up again I quit again-January 07. not that hard when you don't use that much. probably would not have been so easy if i had been a pack-a-day type
had quit one before when they hit $.00 per pack. was not going to pay that much. went almost two years, then found some on sale for $4.00 per carton. Dropped $100.00 and stated smoking again.

will probably start again if I ever get some free or really cheap. like them after a good meal. too old to worry about that second part

I never took up smoking cigarettes, I use to smoke a pipe, (yes I inhaled and I smoked it daily for about 3 years), but I never had any problem setting it down and not smoking. I have never suffered from withdrawal from smoking or drinking. And my drinking was Really heavy. I quit it cold turkey as they say with no withdrawal either. So I cannot understand why people have so much trouble just putting it down and stop using it. Sorry I haven't been much help this time.

I am not a very frequent smoker.. but I do smoke 1-2 daily....when I want to quit I make sure I dont buy cigarrets.. during those times I only smoke if someone offer me.. that helps me reduce the quantity so much. I did this several times.. but truly I havent quit smoking completely. I just make sure I dont smoke regularly and not to increase intake.

that is hard. i quit for about 6 months. went cold turkey actually. of course when i started again it was worse than before. but i havent had a single smoke since saturday night and i havent even craved it because my fiance is out of town so i havent even smelt it (we both smoke cloves so the scent is soooo enticing). i ran out last weekend and just havent had the time to go out to the tobacanist (cause i can only get them at a cigar shop in the mall and just havent gotten out there).

but i know when i see him again i'll bum one. or at least a drag. usually a drag is enough to get me thru the craving.

or chocolate.
