One is as destructive as the other - before you know how bad you have been taken over by the addiction your life is very likely wrecked and will take all of your heart and soul to make it right again.

The worst kind of addiction is Religion. Drugs, gambling etc only tend to harm the user and the people around them, whereas religion and religious organisations have caused untold harm to millions of people the world over.
Stick to crank, crack and smack, but just say no to Jesus and Mohammed.

As a recovering addict and someone who grew up with a gambling family member I'd have to say drugs, especially cocoaine. It consumes you TOTALLY, cocaine was my world and I revolved around IT!!!! Nopw, having said that I will readily admit that no matter what ur addiction is, it is serious. I don't think that one is "better" to have than the other.

The opposite sex. Think about it. If you have an addiction to the opposite sex, and you get married, you run the risk of cheating on your wife/husband, and then the spouse finds out and kills you. That's pretty "worst" to me.

anything taken to the extreme. moderation is key to anything in life (except for physically addictive drugs like heroin). even food is destructive when you don't eat it in moderation.
