I would say entertainment, because anyone with or without a brain can answer any question they want even if they have no idea what theyre talking about.

I think Yahoo!Answers is both, but when I am in Polls & Surveys category it is for entertainment. I have learned a lot of things in the other areas.

Well you never listen to anything people say on here without consideration.. But some people can be pretty funny!
And I only ask a question when I want to learn something.. Or I'm curious about what other people would say. Isn't that why we're all here anyways? Though? To learn...

Both. It would depend on what questions are being asked, and what answers are given.
Polls & Surveys is for entertainment purposes, no doubt. If you want learning, go to such categories as Business & Finance, Politics & Government, or even Education & Reference.

as quickly as I first used yahoo solutions it substitute into to ask a question that i mandatory an answer to. and that i did get a good answer, so I actual have found out a touch. and that i've got been chuffed to respond to some serious question that have been placed forth here. yet maximum of it rather is questions asked for the entertainment of the asker, and that i've got been employing it for entertainment. i could like it greater beneficial if each and every of the "rubbish" substitute into thrown out, so as that it must be a greater sensible internet site.

Entertainment & Music is for entertainment. But when you venture into the other categories you can learn a few things.

I think it depends on the category! If it is polls and surveys, entertainment. Other categories can be for learning. Some people truly need help and can't figure out things on their own. (why do you think Dear Abby is still so popular?)

The Polls & Surveys section is definitely more for entertainment....and I spend most of my time in this section....but I think you can probably learn something in some of the other sections.

I agree with you! I think that most of us use it for fun, but other than that, the people in like th homework section use it for learning!
