It's used to massage the egos of business types.
They think it will show people that they are so important that they can't be without email for a couple of minutes.
In reality it shows people that they are sad muppets

A PDA turned out to be one of the most useless things I ever bought.
It looked good from a gizmo point of view but once it comes to the practicalities of using it (a Windows mobile device) forget it, they just frustrate and over complicate everything you try to do with it. That's what I found myself doing, trying to find a use for it but since they're so fiddly to use I quickly stopped bothering.
It's back in the box unused now.

PDA stands for Personal Digital Assistant. As the name suggests, it is used for many things such as to store contact numbers, to call and message others, to store important things i.e meetings appointments, dental check up.
