IQ is as relevant to how smart you are as the ability to do crosswords. Many people have high IQ`s and still have deluded views on religion and politics showing they are actually stupid in the real world

I think there is a big different between IQ and a genius.
I wise person once told me that; the definition of a genius was someone on the verge of insanity.
As well as that, IQ will not measure ones wisdom, creativity, logic, ethics and so on.
I'd prefer to be wise and humble. Than someone with a 200 IQ
Or perhaps this is my way of saying I'm jealous?. ha ha.

My youngest son was rated at 185 so genius runs in the family and I'd be more impressed with a bank account of $200,000,000 than an IQ of 200. There's an old saying all self-proclaimed braniacs would be wise to contemplate: If you are so smart, why ain't you rich? Indeed!
In fact, a team from Cornell University sent an IQ test to a random sample of persons who frequent Yahoo Answers, but the results came back negative! ;) I swear!

Ask them how because most IQ scales don't go that high, it usually only happens when the child is really young so breaks out of the normal scoring boundaries.
An IQ is not that impressive, just an exam mark, if they don't apply it then it to something its nothing!
Davy Jones is so correct, i'm in Mensa, the mix of stupid people's opinions is just as bad as in the average IQ mix of people, if not worse because they think their stupid opinion is right because they have a high IQ. How wrong they are.

Normal IQ is 90-110, anything over 120 is considered genius. What could I possibly say to someone with genius IQ? Everything....what does IQ have to do with emotional and fun ties. Ask me how much my husband and I discuss quantum physics or the mechanics of religion.....lol...maybe once. Most of us relate to others on a simple level. My view of the question is probably unrealistic.....I'd be in awe of the person and afraid to chat with them about much for fear they'd realize what an idiot I really am. Sorry. For as wrapped up as most of us are about trying to fit in and act normal, the sad fact is it would almost be a curse to be a genius.....then again think about the possibilities. Cool.

I would think it is cool that someone I have come in contact with is that smart. It's rare to be that smart. I would like to have conversations with them because to me they're like an open book, they would have a lot of the answers that your looking for-in the context of politics, medicine, etc. not that "psychic" stuff. But, I have noticed from my own experiences that after a while they sound like they are superior and I'm inferior to them. Some would actually agree and then it gets tiresome, for both parties. Romance with that person would be hard, if it seems like he/she is "teaching" all the time. BUT, if that person can mellow out and bring it down a notch and both people come to a medium then it has a possibility to become a beautiful thing.

I'd wonder just how this information came to my notice ~ did it need advertising! ~ and possibly how this IQ effected her everyday life!
I've known a few high IQ individuals whom, as 'bright' as they were and as nice as they were, some were really not the 'full quota' and had difficulties in the everyday world.

Seriously can you imagine that person's unique great intelligence.Wealth of knowledge about various aspects.Marked out by his lecturers as a student with great potential for leadership and intellectual brilliance. If the person made himself easily accessible to all...i would desire a lengthy discussion on varying viewpoints.

I'd ask him a very simple logic question:
Prove that it is impossible to prove that is possible to prove that the existence of consciousness and reality can be proven. Establish the logic of your logic in order to arrive to your proof, and prove that it is impossible for logic to display logic when proving the impossible. Elaborate on the lack of logic from which the proof can be deduced and show that it is equivalent to a reasonable and logical absurdity.
