MAC Cosmetics is not known for their superb mascara...it's actually one of their least selling product according to my aunt who has been in cosmetics for more than three decades. MAC keeps on making mascaras because every brand on the market for the most part have a mascara that really, really works, thickens like a volumizer, lengthens like a taffy pull, conditions like a hair mask, and seperates like many high school crushlationships. Clumpy, thick, dry, globby. What a shame because all their other stuff is so incredible but they just cannot seem to get their mascaras right. I mean, L'ancome, YSL, shu uemura, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Benefit, Dior, L'oreal, even Maybelline! You would think that a mascara would be a breeze for MAC because aside from that product, everything else in so incredible.

I ADORE most MAC products, but I honestly find their mascara to clump way too much... it does its job, but it makes a bit of a mess... I prefer to use Benefit Bad Girl Lash for thickening and Bare Escentuals Big Tease or Brushless mascara for both thickening and lengthening. I also like Protein Lash mascara from Fusion Beauty, it makes your lashes insanely long, but is way too expensive for regular wear.

My sister is a makeup snob and she ONLY uses MAC. Her eye makeup looks terrible though!!! SHe applies sooo much of it and her mascara clumps making it look like she has three fat eyelashes instead of a lot of skinny pretty ones. lol! I do not suggest their mascara!
