That really depends on what you mean by greatest.
Are you asking for the authoritative greatest game of all time or just my opinion of what the greatest game of all time is?
Also, what qualifiers should I use to determine that?
Super Mario Bros. is the best selling game of all time.
The Zelda series is my series of all time (and one of the highest ranked).
The Elder Scrolls series is my favorite PC series of all time.
Civilization 2 is my favorite PC game of all time.
Duck Tales is my favorite console game of all time.

How could people say PONG?
When I think of the greatest video game of all time, I don't necessarily consider games that revolutionized the gaming industry .. I think of ones that I didn't get bored with after 20 minutes!
What about the FINAL FANTASY series?
Dance Dance Revolution!
Grand Theft Auto!
The Sims!
I think all of these series stand out because of their popularity and fun factor. Most of all, each series is a genre within itself, nothing can compare to them ...
