yes, its becoming more acceptable, but that doesn't mean that you have to change your opinion of it! Just because its acceptable, doesn't mean that its ok! However, I am not saying that its not ok, I'm known to do it every now and then, and I have a lot of friends who do it! It all depends on who you are, your morals, and what you think of it! Good luck with this question, though! You get a star!

There's stuff that's LEGAL that needs serious reconsideration, in my opinion. But anyways, weed along with just about everything else has become more acceptable nowadays. Couldn't say "high" back in the 60s on television, now you can say everything except Fcuk. They've got Tila Tequila sewing her bisexual oats on MTV. They're selling midriff tops for 8 year-olds nowadays. Yea, it's getting, if not already, fcuked up.

I notice the same thing. I am the only one a lot of places that doesn't smoke it. You don't have to accept it but you don't have to be judgemental either. I don't like people to smoke around me, and so if they want to smoke I ask them to take it outside.

Its not a big deal, and it should be legal with the same restrictions as alcohol. I have never seen a high mean person before, but I have seen plenty of mean abusive drunks. But hey if you don't do it you shouldn't start because everyone else does. I think its fine to do once in a while.

More people smoke weed than you think. A lot of people are reserved and hush hush about it because the few people who do not indulge make a big deal out of it.
Accept it for what it is. If you don't smoke it's your business, but a lot of people do. What other people do privately at home has no affect on you.

over here (England/UK) it is - you don't even get arrested for having small amounts now, your weed just gets confiscated.
also its now fairly rare to go to prison even for growing/selling it, it'd have to be a pretty huge amount.
there's been a bit of a backlash though and the government is considering changing things back and clamping down on it again , so we'll have to see happens.
I hardly ever smoke these days so it doesn't really affect me, but I still like to see others have the freedom to make their own choices.

I personally don't like it because it can pose the same health risks as tobacco smoking but it's a personal choice. Might as well accept it.

Accept it...it's no worse than alcohol or prescription meds. The only difference is the Gov't can't control it so they have tried to place it in the taboo category. Weed is fine, the only thing it causes is a decline in the snack food surplus.

Yes, 99% of people I know smoke weed. It doesn't alter your personality negatively like alcohol or anything like that. To me, smoking weed is like taking a tylenol, just relaxes you and makes you feel better. Weed is nothing like real drugs like meth or crack!

It is becoming legal in more places, but only in small amounts, but that does not change the fact, that it is a gateway drug. I do not make a habit of judging people, but I have seen too much of the damage it can cause.
