In the grand scheme of things life probably doesn't matter! That doesn't mean we don't serve a purpose! If we can make life easier for one person here on earth we will have served a purpose!

does life matter, do we serve a purpose. To answer that question is like do we need to eat. Of course we matter!!! And what is our purpose in life. Good question... I really can't answer that it's something you have to find for yourself. But you matter because if you really think about how would your family and friends be with out you. Do you encourage them, support them. I am sure you help them in the time of need just like the would help you in the time of need. Life isn't fair, and sometimes it's not fun to live but we serve a huge purpose and that is impacting others. I hope you find that life is worth it struggle and that even you serve a purpose, eventhougth i may take you longer to see what your purpose is. GOOD LUCK.... KEL BEL

Certainly. Each one of us has a purpose. It maybe serving another people, helping a friend with their problems, being a mentor or an inspiration, a leader for a certain group or country, etc.

Somehow we seem to know that we have been sent into existence to do something important. Either that knowledge we have is real or it is just something we invent to make ourselves feel good.
If it is real, it has to have come from God. No other possibility:

If that knowledge is just something we have invented to make ourselves feel good, then it is just an illusion of purpose. One person's illusion of purpose would be just as good as another illusion. So as long as it gives good feelings, killing would be just as good a purpose as healing.

We do have to presume that we are serving some sort of purpose although we do not know what. However if for some reason the human race died out then another species would no doubt evolve to take our place

Our purpose in life is to love, care, share, laugh and sometimes cry. All we can but do is exist, in that existence we must find our own purpose. Yes life does really matter.

Yes, of course, life matters very, very much, even if we dont always know what our purpose in life is or what we are supposed to do....life still matters. And in my personal opinion, i have no idea what im supposed to do or where i am heading but i find life to be an adventure...scary at times but also wonderful and amazing...so even if i am not sure of the destination, so to speak, the journey itself is amazing! :)

of course life matters every thing has a meaning , you may not feel that at times but it will work out if you live an honest and be good to others it will come back to you 10 times full but you can't do it for the wrong reasons you have to do it from your heart
