My English teacher has been getting pretty annoying since she makes us do speaking exercises which requires us to speak in front of the whole class. She doesn't give us time to prepare, and the person in front usually ends up being embarrassed. Any tips?

If you are a stutterer, download and print out the brochure for teachers that The Stuttering Foundation of America has under "brochures for all ages" on the web site at www.stutteringhelp.org.

If you don't always stutter and just do so when nervous, practice giving some spur of the moment talks with friends or family members. Maybe some of the other students in your class would get together and practice, too.

Your English teacher is doing you a great favor by having you do this. It may unnerve you now, but it sure will help you later on in life.

breathe deep and remember that the whole class has to give speeches as well. also, just think positively and start practicing the art of improv (since you said she doesnt give you time to prepare)

in spite of the undeniable fact that it is not a criminal offense, it may be complicated for the police officer yet while they have somebody in the branch that could communicate Russian they could in all probability call and have that person translate.
