Would it be possible to determine who is a jerk and who is not?

By giving the "trol" or however you'd address such a person, some time.
Some are transparent enough to show it immediately.
Some may be somewhat clever enough to usurp your genuinely given interest.
However : inevitably, the truth of a trol or anyone OUTS!
Give this a try and trust your instincts, no matter how cleverly manipulated!

No,not really. You can get a pretty good idea from Q&A history, but everybody has a jerk button that gets pressed from time to time.
Does it make you wonder if people are hiding something when they set their Q&A to private?

Even the trolls will answer, if they feel like it. For me, it is getting a lot easier to tell the trolls. A lot of them have been around a while now.

You just have to try to determine that by how they answer & even then sometimes it is hard to judge from that :-( They are tricky & nasty little buggers (trying to keep it nice & clean, here) We just have to watch out for each other...we know who our friends are :o)

just by the stupid, rude answers they give, thats how I tell a jerk from a real human being...funny answers are good but the rude obnoxious ones suck.☻

Anyone can lie and say they're not a troll. You have to see what they're like and judge for yourself.

I do have a few blocked that I think are-- but you dont really know it kinda calmed down but I think they are coming back sucks!
