I got spanked one time in the 8th grade for copying my friends Lab Book in Science. I was mortified and I hated that teacher's guts after that. 15 years later she moved in next door to me and screwed my husband. True story.

We always demanded to get paddled because it was quick and over with, unlike detention.
I got paddled a couple times. Once in the 2nd grade, when I was just a squirt, this teacher told everyone not to get out of their chairs. I didn't pay attention or hear her. She spanked me bare handed right in front of the class.
Then the second time we were in the 8th grade and we were cutting school for like 28 days (I was still carrying a B average) and got caught and the vice principal pulled us into the office and gave us 3 wacks with a large paddle that had holes in it.
ahhhh, the good ole days :)

I was spanked in some sort of closet in 1st grade (along with another student) by my teacher. I can't even remember what I did that was squat worthy! All I can really remember was maybe being embarrassed upon returning to the classroom. I really can't remember.
Then in 6th grade, I was spanked for cussing by the principal in his office. I bragged afterwards about how it didn't hurt, etc. in order to make it out like it was no big deal - like I was a hero or something. So, yeah, that time I went the "badge of honor" route!

By the time I went through school, they had done away with corporal punishment... Least ways I never received it. But then again I didn't become a little hooligan until Jr. High.

the two. yet i'm going to in no way in my life ever forget approximately the paddling. the instructor does not do it herself. somewhat..... she brings the coach in there. right here i'm a 13 twelve months previous lady approximately to get paddled by utilising a male coach. Do you notice something incorrect with this?? What made it worse became into that he delivered his own paddle with him. One he had quite drilled holes in so as that the air could desire to flee by using fact the timber met hienie. to declare that this brought about excrusiating soreness could be such an underestimation. i could not pass for days. Do you notice something with THIS besides?? So now....... i'm that instructor. lol I see my teenagers do issues soooooo plenty worse than I ever tried to do. Do I paddle them? lead them to write sentences? lol no..... I threaten to bypass Mary Kay Laturno on them in the event that they don't straighten up and fly real. *cough* (confident....... confident I"m greater suitable than joking people). Lesson: Be stable and don't be late for sophistication. *cough*

When I was in the 8th grade they would send you to the principal's office to get swats. Once you got 25 swats you had your own paddle made by someone in Shop Class. When you got to 50 they would drill one hole in the barrel end and the same for 75. If you get over 100 like I did your name is engraved in paddle. My principle would hold paddle like a golf club and yell Fore! when he hit you. It hurt like hell

I went to Catholic School in New Jersey.
50's 60's....didn't have lay teacher until 6th grade....
I had NUNS....old time full habit Nuns.
And they were not shy about corporal punishment.
The Nun in classroom took care of minor offenses.
More serious offenses were handled by Mother Superior...and she was about150 years old.
More serious than that was to be taken to rectory where priest would admonish
"theres a special place in hell for boys like you:)"
You must be outside the United States.
In the U.S.A.....
Seems like a kid can spit in teachers face and get away with it.

Girls were never given the cane...only the boys and they would have to make a fist so the principal could rap them right across the knuckles....ouch!
Girls were put in detention....ohhh, I'd like a dollar for everytime I had to stay behind after school!
