Use foam rubber instead and flat forward. use spray paint for the griddle golden browns. You can find sheets of it at a upholstery supply store or a good fabric store. This way you can get through doors and sit down and you are not a hazard to other guests.

I like the suggestion of using foam rubber so you are more flexible for sitting and doorways, etc. How about using fake blood on your pancake? It's Halloween after all! Could put some on your face and hair too. Just remember to confine it to areas that wouldn't mess up someone's furniture. Fake blood recipes at source. Most are made with corn syrup as base, but the one with Palmolive dish soap & red powder Kool-Aid sounds good to me.

Maybe acrylic paint would work out neater. It would dry and not be so messy. It is water based, so it is easy to clean up. Can get that at craft dept. of WalMart.

I made a cool pirate outfit for a renaissance festival from Salvation Army clothes. I took a vest and cut it up and put it back together so it would be tight with eyelets and leather string (both are at craft stores). No sewing, just hammering! You can also wear lots of jewelry and tall boots as a pirate.

If it was me....I would use a one piece gymnastics leotard..you can do cream color with cream color leggings as well. I would just clue (somehow) a large Round piece of cardboard on the front and on the back and just slip into it. But be carefull to get both round pieces in the same spot. That way its attached to you and you won't have problems later.

i think you should like cut out the front of a huge cardboard box and decorate it like a pancake....butter, syrup, etc. and then do the same- cut out the back of that box and decorate it maybe with whip cream and strawberries this time, and then hole punch the tops and put in string so you can have it like shoulder straps! simple. good luck ♥

Make 2 pancakes out of cardboard and make shoulder straps to hold it on you.

Don't forget the butter...

flat face forward. Use a hula hoop. cover hoola houp with fabric. Cut a slit in the bottom and a round circle for your face in the middle. It could be removable so you dont have to wear it all night...
