After I click a link in Google or Yahoo, it doesnt go to the link but to some other search page, llike dealfast.com or whatever page. Its frustrating, i did an Ad-aware search, no use. It's gotten to the point that i cannot do any searching, any link i click just brings me to one of those search pages. Is there anything i can do? I dont want to reformat my C drive.

Try getting a free 14 day trial of CounterSpy anti spyware. They give you the full version and it is very powerful software.
If you have any spyware, adware, trojans etc. it should find and destroy them.

Your system has been hijacked.

That is a pretty good tutorial on how to use a tool called "HiJackThis."

With the HJT log after you've run it, go to http://hjt.networktechs.com/ and try their auto analyzer. It should tell you what's hijacking your system.

You can then proceed from there with that information.

Good luck! :)

i have the same problem, but got it fixed by format (sorry)

if you don't want to format your C drive , how about installing an additional Windows on dirve D (if you have one) you will get the option to choose one of 2 windows at start up
