how do you increase the range of a bell wireless internet signal?

I work one block away from home and want to increase the range of my wireless signal so I can use my laptop at work.

Talk to your company first to see if they will allow you to do that. I would be surprised if they agreed.

If they agree, you could try an external WiFi antenna. That may work if you have a clear line of site from your home to your work.
