Prayer is the answer to every problem in life. It puts us in tune with divine wishdom wgich knows how to adjust everything perfectly. So often we do not pray in certain situatio, because from our standpoint, the outlook is hopeless, but nothing is impossible with God. Nothing is so entangled it cannot be remedied. No human relation is too strained for God to bring about reconciliation and understanding. No habit is so deep rooted that it cannot be overcome. No one is so weak that he cannot be healed. No mind is so dull that it cannot be made brilliant.

Whatever we need or desire, if we trust God, He will supply it. If anything is causing worry and anxiety, let's stop rehearsing the difficulty and trust God for HEALING, LOVE, AND POWER.

Yes, I do.

I pray that the Lord enlightens our leaders that they may serve our country's interest above theirs.

I pray for good health for my family, that they may pursue their life's plans undeterred by sickness.

I pray for my friends, that they may be happy having me as their friend, and that they spread happiness throughout their circle of friends.

I pray for the poor, that they may have the courage to pursue their dreams.

Yeah I pray.

I believe that prayer is like having a comunication with the Lord. I pray for a lot of things but I always know that the Lord Knows best and will decide which prayer He have to answer first. I know that He's always with me. He might take His time in answering my prayers but I believe that He'll answer it when the time is right and not before.

Anyway, my prayers is not always about asking Him for something but also to communicate with Him, to thank Him and glorify Him. He always give me strenght to carry on when times are rough and He gives me direction when I feel I'm lost.

I thank God for every little thing.

5 times a day, just like having to take small meals, 5 times a day, and also when physically cleaning ourselves. It is not only an answer to every problem in life but a form of physical exercise as our prayer method involved stretching of the muscles, straightening, realigning the backbone for better posture, expulsion of co2 from the lungs through breathing exercise which is hardly done when breathing normally, mental exercise by having to focus on relaxation, thoughts on the teachings of God only, remindings of the love of God to us and our duties to God and fellow creatures.
It is said in a teaching in islam that if only one knew what the benefits of a person could get for performing prayers, they would even want to crawl just to go to pray.
As prophet mohammad (peace be upon him)said, if a person would take a bath as much one could, there will be no filth found in them. So is the same with prayers, properly done, it removes sin from a person.
For God (most gracious, most high), whether we pray or not does not affect "Him," The performance of prayers are for our well being.
The best, whenever we face God (most gracious, most high)
we should not give instructions, but report for duty.

yes, dear friend, nena prays a lot. i want to earn lots and lots of brownie points so i can go to heaven. i believe in the power of prayer - whether to ask for something for myself and for my loved ones (and yes, even for strangers) or to say thanks for our many blessings. no man can do it on his own...we all need divine intervention.
