I'm about to be 20 y/o next month and I had them done in July of this year. I personally am very happy with my results. I made sure my surgeon knew exactly what I wanted because a lot of surgeons have a mind of their own about what looks good. I've heard of many women who woke up to a totally different size that what was discussed. Make sure you let him know you want no bigger or no smaller than ____. I have salines under the muscle. 320cc implants overfilled to 350cc and 360cc. I was previously a small to mid B cup. I am now a full C/baby D. I personally found the surgery to have no pain, only discomft. You're tight and extermely stiff. I don't remember much of the day of the surgery. I believe I slept a lot due to the anethesia. I of course, couldn't shower. Day 2, I saw my plastic surgeon and he removed the wrap and checked me out. I went home and had to have my BF help me shower and wash my hair. It was hard lifting my arms. I had the crease incision, under the breast. If you go through the armpit, you will definitely will not be able to lift up your arms at all. I'm not familiar with the belly button incision. The aeorola incision is more painful of course than the crease. If you go under the muscle, there's less chances of visible rippling. I have rippling. I had a lot of breast tissue to start off with too. It's just something that's pretty common. About 80% of women with implants have it. Fourtnately mine are not visible, only can be felt. There's also the chance of capsular contrancture which is a big deal. The scar tissue around the implants can tighten and frim, squeezing the implant, and causing it to feel horribly firm. If it's bad enough, it'll actually start to disfigure. Even though it's controversial, talk to your doctor about massaging. Most surgeons advise it. It helps to break down scar tissue and to keep the pockets open, so the implants have room to move around. Also I went back to work a week later. Stayed in a sports bra for 4 weeks. No heavy lifting or excercising for like 6 weeks. Best of luck. Oh and I dont know if you're into forums but the most beneficial one to me, where I learned the most about my implants was at www.breastimplants411.com. You'll need to create a user ID & password and it may possibly ask you to call in & verify yourself. That's because its very anti-men! Lol, well after that's done, click forum at the top then breast implant or augmentation discussion forum. You can browse the info, ask or answer questions. I LOVE that forum. The women are so nice and you really learn so much about what to expect from their at hand experience.

You are going to be in allot of pain and discomfort if your having them under the muscle. I went for the more natural look and have the Breast tissue on top of the implant and they look and feel so much more natural than I ever expected. It depends on how much breast tissue you have but they usually suggest you have the breast tissue on top if you have very little they usually suggest putting the implant under the muscle.
The day after I was fine I had breakfast then waited for them to remove my drains and for my surgeon to check me over, then the chauffeur collected me and took me home (3 hour drive and a 30 min ferry crossing). They were sat really high and swollen but they looked fab already. Don't worry if you have some bulge near your arm pits they will settle in the right place. They will be numb, itchy and tingly and your nipples may not have allot of feeling for a while but that all comes back, I still have numb patches but it can take up to a year for them to all go back to normal.
I would suggest you take a sports bra that will fit you snugly after the op as it will act as your bandage, it's no use taking a 34 D if your only going to be a 34 C it won't support your breasts well enough. I went up 260 cc from a B to a D-DD I took a 34 C sports bra with me and it really helped it must be comfey as it will be your best friend for a long time!

Good Luck With Your New Boobs I Hope It All Goes Well.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting breast implants and if it makes you happy then you should seriously consider it. Talk it over with a doctor to see if you're in good health, and discuss the specific details of the procedure. A doctor should be able to tell you when us too big, and if you go too big that's when you get health problems. As someone before said, the surgeries that turn out badly are usually pretty extreme. You only want to go about a b or c (idk what size you're at now) which is hardly extreme. I'm just letting you know though, I don't know what you look like but a b can be quite small. I'm a b cup and I'm so flat chested I look like a fat little ten year old :(. I too want implants, and I'm considering saline. Yes, they can burst as can silicone, but saline isn't dangerous and it will just be absourbed into your blood stream. The material you use for your implants is one of the details you should talk to your doctor about. As for anyone going on the "love your body" rant: you either love your body or you don't. And if you don't, you probably never will unless you change it, at least a little. Yeah, it kind of sucks but that's just how it is. I personally find it hard to love my body with the recent media switch where you see a lot of full figured women boasting about how great curves are. Not everyone's curvy >:(
