Not be honest and lay out all your cards.... now, this is in reference to the first date, not first meeting. Also, it depends on what your looking for at the time. I laid everything out on my first date with my wife and it resolved a LOT of issues.

Oh my...I went out to dinner with this guy one time, the whole night he talked about his ex-girlfriend (because he found out me and her were from the same home town) and he interrupted me constantly. He absolutely would not let me finish a sentence. When I did speak to him, he would look away. Needless to say, there wasn't a second date!!

Seriously, it happened to me! I was standing a few steps above street level when he arrived 10 minutes late. I could see into the back seat of his car - FULL of trash, almost up to the bottom of the windows! EWWWWWWWWWWW
