No your not wrong. Normally I forgive very easy. But I can not forgive my ex husband for what he is putting my daughter and myself through.

Forgiveness comes easy for me .. easier to forgive than hold a grudge against someone. It takes too much hard to stay unforgiving.
But letting go is never easy for me

Of course they are doing it the easy way as there is only them selves and GOD they believe settling things. I know as a convert it was very difficult to make those first confessions and until one has gone through it they have no real appreciation of how comforting it is to actually hear a authoritative words from GODs Priest when he absolves you i mean it's a real person assuring you of GODs love and forgiveness.I do not blame protestants for there beliefs but i do feel when they face GOD for that final time unlike there ancestors they will have a hard time convincing GOD they just did not know his true Church with so much access to information available today.

It just depends on the situation, in most things I will forgive but in some things I will neither forgive nor forget.

So far in my life yes it does - however when I read stories about children being hurt or abused on purpose then I think that would be a different story and it wouldn't come so easy to me then
