3-4 weeks depending on the popularity and money the movie makes. Could even be less if the movie is a bomb.

Saw IV will probably be around a minimum of 6 weeks...the "series" has been that popular and made quite a bit of money.

It depends.

Theaters try to get the best movies out that'll fill the most chairs.

Sometimes, that might mean showing The Simpsons on three different screens opening weekend, while another new movie will only be on one screen.

Also, some movies open slowly, and so while the movie has come out in select cities, it may not be in your city, and the theater where you live is waiting to see how the movie does in the "select cities."

If the movie is bringing in lots of people, they'll keep in the theater for weeks. Say for example it's Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, whatever...those films were in theaters forever.

I would anticipate in your case Saw IV should be in theaters for a while, unless after the first weekend no one goes and sees it.

Depends on how well it does. If it's a hit, it'll hang around for a while. If it's a flop, theaters will drop it like a hot potato.

it all depends on the sales, if it has low sales than it will be there for like 2 weeks, but if it has continuous sales week after week, there going to keep it there to make that money

3 weeks.
Unless it is really popular and then it depends on the $$ intake.
