even find it when i go into control panel, i have already got avg thankyou

Go to control panel - open Add or Remove programs. Scroll down to find Norton, highlight it with the mouse and a button will give you the option to delete the program. If you are sure you want to do this, click the button and the program will automatically uninstall. Reboot following this and presto - no Norton firewall
