get the xbox 360 elite it has more power and has more online games. some games are on both consoles but there are some games that only work for xbox 360 or playstation 3. many good games are to come for xbox like stranglehold gears of war 2 and many more. there are also awsome games for xbox 360 like HALO 3 which is the best game ever. Xbox 360 is so much better than ps3. hope this helped with your desision!

get yourself a ps3.
I previously had an xbox 360 (which broke) so it took it back the shop and got a replacement brand new console. That one decided to break as well about a week later so i had enough. I purchased a ps3 about a month ago, play it quite alot and have never had a problem with it (touch wood). never over heats or crashes like x box 360 did.

If you compare the hardware in an impartial manner you will find that the PS3 has the advantage. It is very well rounded and technically superior for the investment. Another thing to consider is that many of the plug-ins and additional features are being offered FOR FREE via sony download. The X-box requires that you PAY. The remaining question is titles, and most of the good titles are now on both consoles. Unless you have a title that is exclusive to 360 that you HAVE to have, I believe the PS3 is your best bet. Mine kicks serious buttocks on HDMI 65" Widescreen TV.

I bet many will say PS3 sucks. Which is not true. I love both systems. PS3 has the most power by far, but the such lack of games for it is why people turn it down.
Xbox 360 has great games for it out right now (Halo 3, Gears of War, Etc.). I said PS3 is powerful but the 360 isn't underpowered; it has good power behind it too. But all the faulty parts, and increased amount of people getting the Three Rings of Death is a problem with it. But Microsoft has increased their warranty on the systems because of it.

I think that they're both good systems, but I'd get a PS3 due to all the problems Microsoft has had with their RED CIRCLE OF DEATH.
Here are a couple of games that I think you should get or check out for the PS3; Virtua Fighter 5, Heavenly Sword, Devil May Cry 4, Guitar Hero 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, Soul Calibur IV, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Assassain's Creed; these are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

xbox 360 is alot better than ps3. For the simple fact that xbox has alot more games and it has exclusive rights to "Halo 3". Which is the best game ever created in the history of video games. Ps3 doesn't have that landmark game as of yet. The grafics are amazing on the xbox 360.

Playstation is a little bit better but the games are more expensive, so if you want to buy lots of games buy xbox 360.
