What makes someone beautiful is their capacity for Love. If they are loving and kind. One of my daughters friends is beautiful because he doesn't look at the outside. He treats everyone the same and doesn't notice the flaws people have.
Also, when I was younger and dating, I started dating someone that I didn't find physically attractive and the longer I knew him, the more beautiful he became to me because of how warm and loving he was.
Beauty is totally on the inside, the outside is just the package it comes in.

All I know is people's view on beauty varies a lot. People in Burma think that the longer a lady's neck.. the more beautiful she is. Those tribes in Africa cut their lower lip and insert big plates on them, the bigger it is, the more beautiful it is to them.
Our idea of beauty are greatly influenced by colonization and media. What I'm trying to say is... "If it looks beautiful in your eyes, don't bother what other people think!" They have their own version of what beauty is!

I think the inner soul of a person is the beauty . The heart will lead a person with a soul of gold to and far away to share there wonderful light that shines from within.Only a few will see and many will die never knowing the ture love from within

That person's characteristics.
No matter how beautiful he/she may look like, if their personality sucks, that pretty image of theirs will be forgotten & ignored.
If that person has good personality...that individual is the most beautiful individual you have ever met. Period.

That is the way I have always looked at the subject. In a person it's not the outside that matters, its their inner most feelings (how they respect themselves and others)
