I do not!

But, Crackers are an integral part of the rituals of Diwali.
In South they are burst early morning before Sunrise.
And rest burn at night. I was told to create a smoke and kill the germs that are a part of Monsoons. That all Monsoon insects perish. Guess mosquitos will vanish, no doubt. If that is true, but so we will all, if pollution continues.

Population has increased and so have the fireworks . Pollution therefore is killing.

Hey c'mon. We are not bursting crackers all the 365 days darling. One or two days during diwali. Also, by buying crackers for diwali, u r feeding so many mouths (including children) in sivakasi & other places where these labourers struggle to light up your diwali (though officially 'no child labour' involved, there are 1000s of children are still engaged in cracker making industry). So, dont worry. be happy. Burn crakcers n light up somebody's life.

The main aim of Diwali is to enlighten our house and lamps will do
Instead crackers will cause both air pollution and noise pollution so I think the sale of crackers should be banned during the Diwali period

NO! Though it might not feel like Diwali without them, I think there is pollution enough in the cities. Also without the proper supervision, there are too many accidents.

And the most gruesome fact is that children are used to make firecrackers. They work in awful conditions with very low pay and high incidence of injury.

Say no to crackers and save the world!

NO Crackers are not necessary as we can celebrate diwali without crackers by wishing , giving sweets ,having fun.

Absolutely not.
I stopped bursting crackers when I was 10 to do my bit to stop child labor ( as most cracker factories employ children to do this delicate and dangerous work) and to help save the environment from excessive air and noise pollution.
Arguing that it is an indispensable and integral part pf Diwali is foolish, for many years sati was a typical part of Indian culture and tradition, does that make it right?

Look every festival has its own reasons. Diwali and crackers are a compulsory Jodi but since man has the attitude of over spending everything so today definitely this question is arising. This world in fact this beautiful world is God's wonderful gift to living beings so let us think big and preserve it for years to come so that people after us remember us for our good deeds but never for the wrong ones. let us minimise the use of crackers
