Honesty, facts truth and maybe even a profound idea or two.
My motto is that the only stupid question is the question that is never asked. No, I can’t claim that as my own I got it from my drill sergeants in basic training. I approach each question as if it is a serious one and like the questioner really wants help. I do extensive research and there are a few questions that I have completed and never submitted because I wasn’t happy with all the facts in the answer.
When I give an opinion I like to give reasons for it and make a logical argument for why I feel that way. Abortion is cold blooded murder, but I support a woman’s right to decide what to do with their own body and I think the worst thing that can happen is to force a woman to raise an unwanted an unloved child; that’s where serial killers come from. If you watch the show “The Most Evil” then you find a psychiatrist who has interviewed dozens of serial killers and he found out that all of them were sexually abused children. Forcing an unwanted child into the world is sentencing the mother and society to that child’s life time of pain and misery not to mention the harm to the child itself. I would rather not see abortion happen, but the consequences of not having it are worse.
I have seen several trends in Yahoo Answers. People who don’t answer the question and just give an insult; I report them. People who actually lie just to be mean, people who give flippant and simple answers just to get the two points and people who actually seem to care to do their best to give a well thought out researched and supported answer. I like to think that I fall in the last category.
I have also learned that while I may be anonymous and I am able to be a crude, rude, prude answerer, I don’t want to do that. I always want to get the best answer and I do my best to get there. I want to be a trusted source to my fans and to the people who ask questions.

Gentleman what the question is in large part determines how you will answer it.Some merely require just plain good thinking.Others require a bit of research. As reference materials use your experiences, your academic learning, and a reasonable knowledge of language(both vocabulary and grammar).Knowing how to research is a large part of post graduate education. If I didn't know where to look there are many questions I would never be able to answer. As it is by the time I've done the research on a question ,the question has already been resolved. That has happened to me several times. It even happened once with one of your questions, which often require extra-curricular research.I guess I mean Gentleman that there is no one set way to answer a question.Just take them as they come and do what is necessary.

This is how I do it. I don't know whether it is the best way or not. I guess it is something that I learned thru my experience here in y/a. When I first started answering, i answered a lot of movie questions and I typed very less. Now when I look at some of those anwers that I have given, I feel like I could have done a better job. At that time i was needed a lot of points to ask questions from my for my physics class. But know I don't really care about how many points I have not just because I am done with my physics class, but it is because i had the pleasure to help a lot of people thr y/a and I think it is the most wonderful experience ever. So know I am very careful about the way I answer. I do answer movie and cricket questions, but I answer more anwers that can help other people. I answer most of all ur questions I guess tooo. HEHE
Okay answering ur question now
- always try to answer from ur heart
- always answer about what u know
- try to give a honest answer
- always think from the questioners prospective. Think whether ur answer is going to be helful to the questioner.
- Try answer from personal experience. becuase 'experience is always the best teacher.'
- give ur best shot at answering
- try to understand the questioners personality or the questions tone a little bit. I mean, some expect questions require pure knowledge than experiece. Likewise, some questioners want just facts they don't want a lot of information. SOme questioners look for funny answers, while other look for serious answers. TRY to look for that. Becuase some people try to be funny whne they are asked a serious question and that isn't good u know.
- Don't answer to get the 2 points. Becuase that make u just want to write whatever to just get the 2 points. But write so that u could be the best answerer. I know that not everybody would be selected to recieve the title of best answerer. But if we all answer with that potential in mind. We will all be able to give a 100 % effort in answering.
I always learn about how to answer here from y/a. i guess I am soo much better at answering questions now, compared to what I used to be before and I am soo proud of it, because now that i am not writing for the sake of points, i can just openly answer the questions and one huge improvement that I made was that, i know have a ton of fans here at y/a answers. But always want to let u know that U r one of them, who motiovates me to write better because u boost my interest in y/a with ur amazing questions.
I am just a starter in y/a now. i started in july, just merely 23 days before u. I guess as I stay longer I will learn more about how to answer questions.
I really hope that I helped u and other with my answer !!

focusing on the point mentioned in the question and develping your views and points and even experiencesor ideas on it even if its positive or negative as long as the questionaire dosent feel that the answer are kind of like fighting. it must not praise the questionare either. it must be what you think is helpful for everyone and should come from your heart. the answers should be sincere and honest. it shouldnt give the questionare a bad feeling or hurt that person. it should always be one that brings in happiness, thoughts, smiles, sense and comfort to the questionare or other people who are reading it according to what kind of a question it is. while answering, i always try to use these techniques in my answer. not because i want my answer to be picked best but to keep everyone happy and pleasant and feel good about my answers and dont feel hurt or anything bad by them. i believe that everyone should try bring joy into other people's life than ruin it for them and even yourselves.

plenty as i admire the call Elias, i think of Jonas Daniel is a greater valuable combination. Elias Jasper has too plenty S sound in the mixture. i admire the call Thea, notwithstanding it would not sound that spectacular with Juliette, so i assume that makes Myla Desiree the greater valuable combination.

hi gEnTLe m@n...
The best way to answer a question is to be right to the point and your answer should be exact, what the questioner himself wants.
I dont think setting a trend in y/a is a good idea, as people will again come and join up in there just for misuse and fun.
So i really dont think setting a trend in y/a can be good and useful...tc...sweet dreamz...bye....

as truthfully and to the best of your ability. Sometimes from the heart and some times in a manner to get them to rethink what they have asked. and sometimes with a chuckle in your heart, Depends on the question. No one size fits all.
