The answer would be (a)

In the simplest form, the question is asking you to find the values of Y when x is 0 or 1 or 2 or 3.
so you hav to substitute each x-value into the Y=3x-5 expression to solve for the range of y...

i.e
When x=0 y=3(0)-5=-5
When x=1 y=3(1)-5=-2
When x=2 y=3(2)-5=1
When x=3 y=3(3)-5=4

To find the range, just put each number of the domain into the equation and evaluate to get y.

y = 3x-5 x=0 ==> y = -5
x =1 ==> y = -2
x=2 ==> y = 1
x= 3 ==> y = 4

The range is { 1,4,-2,-5} never mind the order you write the numbers into the {} signal.

Since the domain is given, just substitute the values of x to get values of y.
y=3*0-5= -5
y=3*1-5= -2
y=3*2-5= 1
y=3*3-5=4

Range is {-5,-2,1,4}

The domain is what you put in for x, and in that order. So put in 0, get the answer, then put in 1, get the answer, etc. SHould be pretty easy for algebra 2.

answer is a)
just sub in the domain value into x, assuming the domain represents x and not Y
hope that helps
