I am having a few family and friends over and there will be 2 more babies of the same age. What food is good to include in the buffet to cater for the babies?

Finger foods if you are just having appetizers. A fruit tray, veggie tray, cheese pepperoni and crackers. Some chips and pretzels. Babies should be able to eat the crackers, cheese, fruit, and veggies. If you are having dinner, make a pot of bbq along with the apps and some cole slaw. Babies can still eat the healthy stuff and the adults can have sandwiches.

I think the best idea is to have a bunch of cupcakes for the guests then have a special cake for your little one. Just mix it up. Have soft fruits, chicken nuggets, anything you would feed your child would be good for the other babies but make sure to have some stuff for the adults as well.

depending on their ages, if they are around 1 also, then they can eat the same snacks as the adults.

here's what we had at our son's 1st b-day:
-funfetti cupcakes and a small cake just for him
-choc chip cookies
-chips
-pretzels
-hot spinach and artichoke dip
-hot ham and cheese rolls
-veggie tray
-fruit tray

we had his party at 3pm and it lasted until about 5-5:30pm. it was perfect timing b/c all the kids that still nap in the afternoon were awake and it was before dinner so no one expected a meal.
then, everyone left at a decent time to get their dinner started at home.

the timing worked really well for us!
about 2 hours of major fun and then it was all over.
also, it left the rest of the evening to recuperate and clean up!

oh and if you're looking for some activities for the kids....we gave them bubbles and BIG bouncy balls and put them out on the screened in porch. it was lots of fun!!

take care and have a ball!

Finger foods that would appeal to both adults and babies. Small sandwiches, cheese cubes, crackers, sliced fruit and of course cake and ice cream. Just remember babies of that age still cant have peanut butter or chocolate.

I made some jelly cups with chocolate frogs, a plate of vegemite and cheese sandwhiches, a big fruit platter, fairy bread, and sausage rolls, seeing as they can eat all this stuff and the adults can too

An Elmo cake and plenty of soft finger foods. Tiny fruits and veggies that come in their own skin, like grapes.
