I don't understand. My friend is a real book worm yet she asks me how to spell things sometimes, and I know them straight away, yet I don't read nearly as much as she does.

Congratulations! You are one of those who need to make your presence felt in YA where some of the spelling in questions and answers is atrocious, leading to a lot of questions being raised why people don't use the spell check facility so thoughtfully provided by YA.
I suppose people are born with innate skills which are hard to explain how they got them in the first place. Be grateful to God and perhaps to your genes/ancestry for being blessed with good spelling skills. Hope to see your participation more and more in YA.

Some people just have have the knowledge inside them without them knowing it and you don't have to be a bookworm to be able to spell good. I have a 16 year old daughter that hates to read and only does so if she has to but she is a straight A student and she can spell good. I guess the pronunciation helps people spell words right.
