do you have this feeling sometimes?
what if you do so many things in this life, what will it mean in the long run, it seems all so empty, like all what you do will mean nothing anymore in about 1000 years. Are life ways really so empty or am i just desillusional?

Our human nature demands that our lives be worth living. If we find ourselves doubting our worth, the consequences can be very serious:

"There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. Deciding whether or not life is worth living is to answer the fundamental question in philosophy. All other questions follow from that." (Albert Camus-1942)

Going to a location is the same as having a purpose for life.

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

We either have to assume God exists or trick our minds into thinking that we have a purpose. Fortunately, our human capacity for self deception usually comes to the rescue. "I am here to make the world a better place" is a often-heard, invented, feel-good purpose. Unfortunately for you, you seem to want to cling to reality.

You're correct! In a 1000 years, in a 100 years, it won't mean anything to anybody... but, it's far from empty my dear and right now it means more than you realize. Life's a journey, you can't take it too seriously, it's not permanent. In the end it's about those you love, and those who love you, that's the only thing we get to keep, to take with us to whatever's next. Nothing exists with a greater value than love. If you allow it to, it will fill you so ,you'll never feel empty.
Best wishes... enjoy the ride!!!

it happens with everyone. see i'm typing every word properly but will it help in the end? no but i am still doing it. look at the positive side of things. suppose you got an F maybe it will be discovered in the future. people will actually admire you. I'm doing this and see maybe i'll be respected. we all have our ups and downs in life. life is empty and you are deillusional as much as life is full and you are speaking like a great person.

You need to find a purpose in life; one you are pasionate about above all others. That is what gives one's life meaning. Going from one meaningless job and/or relationship to another just wastes what little time you have here on earth.

Why does it have to go somewhere? why don't we enjoy the journey itself? why do we have to be proud in mentioning our names when we are nothing? take off the burden and the pride, get rid of your ego, and only then you will really find your true self, that's not a property.
