If so, has it cost you problems with friends, family or coworkers? Have you offended anyone? Have you tried to stop?

No (or very rarely)... cursing is a learned behavior. Because it has an emotional component and others respond to that emotional component ...it is reinforced.

I guess some people ...who do not have a developed vocabulary utilize curse words as adjectives to their nouns. Adolescents pepper their speech with it to show "independence" since most adults don't appreciate or tolerate vulgar language. Adults tend to view this as immature or insecure behavior.

In social environments...not everyone might react openly...but negative conclusions are drawn about the person's cursing. In general, they see the person as having poor judgement, that they are not sensitive to others feelings or propriety, they tend to be under-educated, and of lower socieo-ecconomic backgrounds. They tend to have other habits that are not always well rec'd (i.e. smoking, drinking, disreguard for other's level of comfort). Frequently, "antisocial personality disorders" are associated with persons that speak in this manner.

That is my best answer! "Dang it!"

I have never cursed, hexed or put a spell on anybody.

Apart from that guy from Haiti. But he was waving dead chickens around and shoving cards with pictures of snakes at me.

No, I never do unless I'm really angry. But never at someone unless he did something big. I'm a clean mouth. Hell and Damn is as far as I'll go in cursing.

Not near as much as I used to when I was managing a red-neck bar. But I probably still curse to much.

I hate to admit this one but yes, I do. I will admit though I'm careful around kids or those who do not approve.
