At home or at a salon?

I had never died my hair but when I found out I had breast cancer, I decided to cut it really short and do something drastic, I died it blond!
I really liked it and when my hair grows back I'm going to do that again.

I have a salon dye I'm trying to grow out. It cost way too much. Home dye works for me.

I dye it about every 2 months, and usually I do it myself for two reasons. One, my hair is so long, it costs me about $250 at the salon, and two they usually do not have any colors I like.
