Vampires do they exist or are they just a myth?
I’ve been frequently asked this question and as a person who is highly interested in vampires I would have to say that my research that I’ve done in the last couple of years indicate that there is no such thing but I’ve seen things that say other wise (ppl may think this is a load of s*h*i*t but every thing I say is true)
Now the term vampire refers to a blood sucking creature that comes out at night and praying on unsuspected victims that’s what everyone will answer with this.
But what I believe is that the term vampire is just another way of saying the evil that’s in humans, I found a place in Asia where vampirism is a way of life a religion if you would say I’ve sat with some the do surgeries to change there looks they lengthen their fangs some have I don’t know exactly but it looks like permanent contacts like Marilyn Manson but creeper know I travel a lot this was a trip with my family and on the said I went looking for them I’ve seen some really scary places in my life but nothing like this it wasn’t the place it was the vaib from the place these guy drink blood I was told that some even drink human blood (don’t ask me where they get the blood) and they told me they are all over the world but what scared me the most was I’m 23 and I never once seen any of them and I do believe as strong as I believe in god that there around we just don’t know it they don’t have super natural powers there as plane as us and just as crazy
I can’t say what country, but you ask me what is the scariest thing out there my answer would be HUMANS
Sorry for this being too long I’m writing a novel a vampire novel not about these guys
1-do yall thing I should purplish my book?
2- Your thoughts on what I wrote and on vampires?
Thank you

Long answer short vampires are real.Er they dont turn into bats so dont get me wrong there are those of myth and those that walk around you every day. And not all vamps drink blood the two main types. The ones that feed off of Physcic powers and those that Feed off of blood. There are many many reasions to be a vampire and they very. And please dont go calling them evil you dont call some one who drinks beer evil do you? And its easy where they get the blood. There are doners people who know full well what is being asked of them and in many cases even enter into almost a contract and in many cases are tested for blood borne sickness. Also keep in minde that the blood letting that takes place is very very small in most cases Dr's take more blood than what is drinken. So you can drop that image of the blood splatterd walls that isnt the case what so ever. And many many times the letting of blood is somthing that is shared between lovers seeing as the act is such a close one. And while there are cases of vampires taking from unwilling vitctoms the numbers are smaller and smaller still are the deaths releated to loss of blood. Like I say the amount taken is so small. So before you go and label them as evil get your facts straight and there are even those that are saved and go to church. There are many reasions for drinking of blood and not all are some evil plot to kill you all off. Like I said its no differant from you drinking beer if abused it can be wrong but if taken with respect there is nothing wrong with it!!!! So I hope I answerd your question and given you all something to think about !!

I have no idea if you will consider this an answer or not but....
Vampires are a creation of fiction. WAIT don't stop reading I know you expected to hear that. I only said that because most people think of Dracula when they hear the word vampire, though Vlad too was a real person at one point. I too know for a fact that vampirism is real and I would like to answer a question for you. At least in this county I do know where "vampires" get human blood. Those people that do live within the life most often get their blood from donors. There are many very human people that are willing to give up their blood in exchange for other things. I won't go into what these other things are, because it varies from person to person. But yes there are people that do it. I can't say in other countries where they would get human blood, and in many I would rather not think about it either. As I have seen bad things done in the pursuit of blood before. As for if you should publish a book about vampires or not? Well I would have to assume you are writing from a non-fiction point of view and that so far, though you do know some things, you don't know enough to have a whole book done. You could try narrowing your topic to just a few things about this sort of "vampire" then write another book later, but if it were me then I think I would keep studying until I was sure enough to my subject that I could write a book. Good luck.
*note* Is there a point of writting fiction based on fact? Isn't that how many people end up believing that fiction is fact? I think on the topic of vampires there are a lot of books out there already that deal with the fiction and if you want to do a well written book that actually informs people then you should go with the fact. You can always do fiction later. I guess it depends on if you want people viewing your work as fact or fiction to begin with. If you are ony going to write fiction then there wouldn't be a prob with it being fiction, but then you wouldn't really need to do the research either because fiction is, after all , fiction.

I didn't believe that vampires really existed ...then i read Violets are Blue by James Patterson and after i decided to do some research about vampires etc......not i know that the "hollywood" vampires aren't real but then i believe now that vampires do exist... I came upon this website of a real vampire and there she answers alot of questions and queries and gives some insight into the life of a vampire and so much more....this really creeped me out....persons who drink human blood or go to a butcher's to get fresh blood....>WHOA...i hope you find the website helpful.....this is it http://www.sanguinarius.org/
Good luck with your book and it seems like something that i would read if it was published....

I'm gonna go out on a limb here; I usually don't do this any more, because I've been ridiculed about it in the past. I'm a relatively intelligent person, and I don't like being humiliated by closed-minded nay-sayers. Anyway, I've been into vampires for about 40 years - since I was a child, believe it or not (I used to watch "Dark Shadows") - and I believe vampires DO exist. To those who say "No, there's no such thing, it's all just a bunch of useless folklore, I always say where there's that much smoke, there's fire. I'm a writer, too, and currently working on three vampire novels (one is a fanfic). I've done exhaustive research on them for decades, and I watch anything and everything on TV about them that I can find. I find them to be absolutely fascinating beings.

Just a myth. But if they were real I'd rather be a vampire then a human. All that strength and good looks for all eternity. Awesome powers.

well, if you spell your novel like that then good luck in finding an editor..my thoughts? the way a person spells shows their degree of education and their intelligence so what i think about the text is bullshit: everything is very vague and the spelling mistakes fill readers with a bit(more) doubt about the authenticity of your story.
edit: How many languages do I speak? 3, but unlike you i can spell in all of them
