What happened? It's as if even the Gods were against Lewis winning, everything that COULD go wrong, DID go wrong, still well done Hamilton for going all out to TRY his best. He made it an exciting game and for a bit it even looked like he might be in with a chance. Much as I wanted Lewis to win, I am glad that Kimi came first as he REALLY deserved that win,

If Lewis wasn't going to win, glad Kimi did as hes been unlucky past couple of years, Just glad that Alonso didn't win, due to his constant moaning - think its sour grapes.

i think of Lewis Hamilton is attempting to shop some face. He pronounced soem issues this previous weekend he in no way ought to have pronounced in public...he admitted to not following group Orders. There at the instant are not any group Orders in F1!!! McLaren only went by way of that throughout Monte Carlo!!!! Denying that this form of ingredient took place! Now LH is asserting they're real and do take place at McLaren!!! If he's not careful he and his dad would be those having some serious themes! Fernando Alonso is only attempting to choose how a sparkling group works. he's used to doing issues one way, and now each and every little thing is happening in yet in a distinctive way. On precise of that LH is winning and FA isn't! As for Ron Dennis, he needs to be VERY, VERY careful along with his appeals!!! The FIA has dropped lots stiffer effects on communities in the previous for questioning their judgements. McLaren would possibly not purely like the no factors selection, however the alternative isn't any factors for the drivers the two! or perhaps even dropping factors for the season for being non-carrying. FA might have prevented not purely LH from getting yet another lap yet different drivers to boot. The pit lane is only so massive and him waiting for a sparkling song does not recommend the pit lane will additionally be sparkling. Charlie Whiting might take an extremely dim view of McLaren acceptable what the FIA sees as a minor penalty to a doubtlessly very serious subject. undergo in suggestions the FIA penalizes not purely the act, yet additionally to avert others from doing the comparable. the unique penalty is designed to end others from questioning the penalty is very well worth the crime. If the group thinks in any different case, the FIA has a habit of slapping on much greater effects.

Kimi deserevs the title. As what happened to Hamilton, it could be a blessing in disguise. There's a reason for him not taking the title this year. No doubt he did his best but at the end of the day I think the mounting pressure from all over the world just kinda got to him. But he's done a pretty neat job in his rookie year.

Yes, anything is possible in F1. However, I'm sure most people weren't expecting Lewis to lose the title by just a few points. I think Kimi truly deserves the title; he never gives up even when it seems impossible and he doesn't talk about anything apart from driving. Plus, he won it fair and square.

I think Lewis did very well this year and in the process rattled quite a few people not least Alonso, but despite his very good showing this year he also showed us he can make the wrong decision at times.
I also think it strange that he would have a gearbox malfunction that put him out of contention after 8 laps and be fine for the rest of the race even during the fast catching up laps !!
I'm happy that Kimi won the title though and not Alonso,in my view Alonso didn't deserve it.

Everyone expected Lewis to win. what they forget is that he IS a rookie, he HAS done phenomenally well, he had NEVER driven Brazil before and it was the first time his McLaren let him down. I take my hat off to him. I also love the way he says he wants to win the title on the track next year, he doesn't want it gifted to him at Kimi's expense. Kimi had a brilliant 2nd half to the season and well deserved his championship. Its been a long time coming.

I think Lewis 'bottled it' a bit at the start, although Massa did slow up a little to put him off. The gear selection problem was a bit odd, McLaren have been so reliable this time, it seems odd that such a thing could happen at such a crucial time. Unless it wasn't the car, but something Lewis did wrong.

Yes he did well....what annoyed me...Aaargh...is the TV hyping up the fact that he WAS going to be World Champ...even to the extent of interviewing Jackie Stewart and others before the Chinese Grand Prix and saying he would be the 9th British World Champ...why can't the media just wait for the outcome before declaring everyone winners, same with Rugby and Football teams....don't count those chickens.....but of course if Lewis doesn't win the Championship next year he will be a failure....

Hamilton got really overwhelmed when Alonso caught him and that he just could have cruised in P5 and won the title. However, he got greedy for the better positions risking the title and it did not pay off at all.

Kimi deserved what he got as a result. He has been unluckiest driver for three years, but this year, the destiny turned to him and awarded him the sweetest present: THE WORLD'S CHAMPION!

Well yeah I can believe it, if he held on to fourth place instead of trying to overtake Alonso, then he would have won the championship. But what I can't believe is that after months of the commentators and media's been shoving down our throats of how great Lewis is (now that we or me at least is choking) they all of a sudden turn a 180 degrees to going against him. Now the media really should just stick with one way, not swivel in the end!
