Yes ... they have added some great talent to their line up. Hill is awesome, Tucker has incredible potential, as does Strawberry and Stoudemire was even more fabulous during the Fiba games. Even Kobe has commented that they will be a force to contend with.
I think after the cheating ump during the play offs last year...they are primed and nothing will stop them. If nothing else ... Nash wants a championship and I don't think there is anything that man wants that he won't find a way to make happen.

NO. The simple fact is, the Suns have had THE BEST roster in the league for the past three seasons, yet they cannot make it past WCF. Adding Grant Hill to the roster does help with the leadership, but i think he will not see enough games to make a difference, he's already having back spasms in the preseason. Skinner will give suns boards but wont do much else. Long story short, the only way suns are going to win is if they play some defence, and seeing the only real defensive guy they have added is rookie DJ Strawberry, i don't see how they can get past WCF. If Amare can put up 5bpg, i can see a championship, but no, amare has no defence and the fact that majority of nba teams are half-court teams means that post-defence is extremely important, and since we already lost Thomas, our defence might as well be air. Ridiculous to hear Amare working on his 3-pt shot. Glad Marion hasnt been traded yet.

YES they can and this is the reason why.
Yes they lost Kurt Thomas but for some reason he got hurt for like half the season since he came form the knicks ...he had to go .
They have gotten 2 new three point specialist
Eric Piatkowski and Richie Frahm .
They have gotten 3 new defensive players
DJ strawberry ( does anyone remember when he locked up lebron on National TV)
Brian Skinner ( and he doesn't need the ball)
Sean Marks
They have gotten two other scorers
Gran hill and Alando Tucker
They can average 20 points and also play some defense..
Hill isn't over yet...he was playing very good in Orlando
I Think they would have won the WCF if it wasn't for the cheating REF( you know the one that got caught fixing games and betting on them) NASH get thrown out of bounce and amare gets suspended

I'm a Suns fan, but even I have to say no. They added Jalen Rose and what did we see from him?
he rarely got in the game. Grant Hill, now it's more bench time for these old decent players that could be putting up 13 to 17 a game. To me personally it's sad to see Hill's career fade away.

adding grant hill should give them the bench help they need... he did very well in the preseason and scored like 15+ ppg in those games... they could have added some more back-up guard or big man help, but as long as the suns stay healthy, i dont really think they needed to do much...

I think... NO. They lost kurt thomas and he plays good D. B-ball is not all about fancy plays, strong finish to the hoop, deadly 3's..
a championship caliber team, no doubt about it, but weak on D.

no, they lost kurt thomas. now no one is going to do the dirty work in da paint!
because of weak defense and interior, i dont think they can win a championship this season. but they will be a ratings winner!

It's nice that they can beat the Lakers on a consistent basis, but would they please beat the Spurs once and for all? Geez.
