Football has to do with teamwork, working together to succeed. Its also supposed to be a "fun" game to play, where they can also lay people out without getting in trouble for the most part.

No its not about that even though that happens. Its about players coming together as a team and each part of that team doing what they can to help the team win as a whole. Tackling is a part of it obviously but they do attack each other. If that were the case they would just take off the helmets and start fighting. When the team succeeds together everyone is a part of that and celebrates in that fact.
Of course when things go wrong the coach gets blamed more often than not..even if the QB is a big ole bag of crap. Google the term football and take it from there.

Yep you got it that’s exactly what it’s about. And you know why stop there what a bout Baseball that’s just boys and their sticks. Or basketball I mean up and down up and down why?? Why stop with sports why do girls get their nails done? I mean that’s just silly. And why do ppl play video games and watch movies or hey why do we even read? I mean really?
Look just b/c your BF or husband, well lets be PC, significant other would rather spend Sat and/or Sun. watching Football instead of going to the mall or what ever it is YOU would rather do, don’t show the rest of us why that is ok. Here is a peace of advice that ALL women should take. Instead of pouting and complaining about his passions (that’s right lady’s sports are a passion) try and understand it and get to know it you might find that you like and I would be willing to bet that if you did that maybe just maybe he would get off the couch or come home from the bar early and you guys can do something else. I bet he would, try it I promise it wont hurt.

Football is about the basic instinct of man.
Penetration, using his force.
Plus, it is built exactly like the American society, where each person has his specific job and he does it routinely as told and by the book, except for a very small minority (QB) that has to think and tell everyone what to do.
This is why football is so popular and specifically in the United States of America.

Henkesh, what the Hell u talking about?
football is about Passion and competition
it is about winning and losing.
i can't imagine a game better than FOOTBALL. i used to like soccer but now after i learned the fooball rules i became obsessed with it. now it is all about football regular season, playoff and preseason the following year.
the problem is some people are lazy to try to know the game before judging it.

A psycologist once answered this question to a talk show on Egyptian TV " It is what all the people in world are looking for, a game, with very clear rules, imposed instantly, punished on the spot, and rewrded fairly 95% of the time, and your oponents are not your enemies ( most of the time, and for a very short time) there is always another match, and another chance.. it is the game of life, the game of democracy, yet people complain after the game is over.. and scream "foul" but " we will get them next time " your heros are just people, no religeon, no color, no race, and now, no gender.. we fake life in a game" I liked his answer.. do you?".

they are modern day gladiators.... slugging it out on the field.... it's a game of power, and strategy, and contrary to what some think, it requires a great deal of intelligence, skill and strength.... I love watching how each side, comes up with plans to thwart the other .....
