I would infer that he thinks his life has been much more interesting than mine has (while mine has been plenty interesting, not that he cares), and that he intends to monopolize any forthcoming conversation with stories from his past. Further, I assume that he's also going to act like he knows everything, and that I know nothing. I've met people like this. It's best not to engage them. Back away slowly. Then run. (I assume it's a man speaking, since every time I've heard a version of this statement, it has been from a man, never a woman.) .

Living Life to the fullest means: showing full appreciation to your parents for taking care of you, showing good deeds to your siblings and friends, showing true love to your spouse, rearing up your children the positive way, helping people in need, making amends to all the people you've hurt, attaining your dreams, eating what you've always wanted to eat, going to places that you've always wanted to see and doing things that you've always wanted to do.

living life to the fullest simply means, leaving your life in the way you want it without hurting or offending other's. this is the basic foundation to satisfy the ultimate happiness of man.

I would think that "living life to the fullest" means enjoying and savoring every opportunity, every moment that life has to offer, be it for fun or leisure or for anything that concerns one's welfare and future.
