I like a bit of aggro in a bowler. It gets the crowd going and makes the game interesting. But there is a fine line between being an intimidating bowler and a complete and utter moron, which Sressanth is. Nobody in Australia takes him seriously as a cricketer or a sledger. You cannot use tactics of intimidation unless you've got some sort of respect in the cricketing community. Even then you don't carry on the way he does. He is a total pain in the *** and I hope he gets injured so I don't have to watch him...

There is no harm in being aggressive on the field but there is something as being too aggressive and not following it up with a performance...which is what Sreeshanth did. We saw a similar thing in 2003 when Zaheer Khan started off the finals trying to be too aggressive and trying to intimidate the likes of Gilly and Hayden but his bowling was way off the mark. I guess if you can just show your cricketing skills, there is no need to behave the way Sreeshanth did.
As much as I hate to admit it, Ganguly was probably one of the better aggressive players in the Indian team when he was captain...he was overly aggressive to the point of making a fool of himself but still managed to hold his ground. And that's mostly what the Aussies do too.
In the end, in cricket, you have to let your bat or ball do the talking!

Its not too much more Australians as they are famous for their Agressions...its just that their faked egos got hurt when they saw the confidence/agression in this young player Sreesanth and they called him callous.

It is not only for Australians but for those who love
cricket his attitude was too much!We have seen somany
great players in Indian cricket history but no one behaved
like him!May be there are some players like him(Of course
not like him!) in other countries, but we have our own
culture and every one always appreciated it!Now not
only foriegners but Indians also get annoyed with Sreesanth's
attitude!Be a gentleman before becoming a sportsman!

Well ,it was natural , not because Aussies are rude or like that.
But simply because it's his style of behaving. It shows that Indians are second to none.Anyway Australians are too strong to be deflected by such things.

being aussie skipper, i would tell you the truth. sreesanth is the only fast bowler of India, we are scared of. Sreesant has pace in 140's and he has a great outswinger and slower bowl in his ammunition.
there is no harm in showing agression, on the field after talking a wicket, as long as it doesn't get racial abuse. Sreesanth is much better than Mcgrath and symonds, who can't even digest a boundary hit to them by Indians. Mcgrath and Symonds have no sportsman spirit.
sreesanth has full right to celebrate after claiming batsman clean bowled like Hayden, Gilly and Symonds.
It was Symonds who didn't like Sreesanth celebrating fiercely and started staring at him.
actually we are born warriors and we can't digest the venom from the other end, whereas we are adept at injecting our venom to other teams. some of our players like symonds also have obsessive compulsive disorder, who accused indian crowds as racist just for their fault of making monkey gestures. they internally know that Indian crowds are cricket maniac and they welcome aussies like gods. Symonds need a psychatrist , for sure.
finally , i would say, we couldn't digest the agression from sub continent player. however we internally know that he did the right thing to irritate us and we deserve to be treated the shabby way, we have been treating others for years togethor.

All answerers here shall not come to Sreesanth's rescue when he may be punished heavily by the highly Racist ICC President Malcolm Speed. Sreesanth better tones down in his own interest.

Why blame Sreesanth. Aussies are the aggressive one and they hate it when they see someone behaving like them . Yes tit for tat. And v just can't blame sree for our defeat in the series.Quite reasonable enough on his part. But he needs to work hard on his length.
